In the case of a development bond, a project line item budget is used; i.e. each draw is applied by line item against the budget. In addition, we monitor the expenditures against significant contracts and PO’s. In the case of contractor bonds, we place the emphasis on monitoring contracts and PO’s. Additionally, we require a copy of the current line item budget with each payment cycle submitted to the Owner/Developer.
